Monster
plan
- build everything seperate
- make the body by coils
- attach legs and heads and details from there
- add the tail for balance
- add spikes and final details

I really liked how my monster turned out I´m just really nervous for how the kid is going to react. One thing I feel I could have done better is the thickness of my monster. When it was fired to bisque ware I only realized then how heavy it was. After all, I just really hope my kid likes it because Ill be disappointed if he doesnt.
Series of 4
plan
- use slump mold
- make them ocean themed
- fire
- paint all different colors
-
-

My series of four I had an entire plan for but it didnt go so well. Using hte terracotta clay kinda threw me off because it was the first time using it and I just hated it. It wasnt really an excuse not to do the project but I only went so far because there was no point in making something I didnt want to keep. I should have just spent more time and been more open to what I had to use but I was not feeling it.
Alebrijes
plan
- make a ball
- hallow it out like a mug or cup
- make it more round/shorter
- wait for it to harden to carve a bunch of holes
- fire it and eventually put pipe cleaners in them as the spikes
-

My Alebrijes is a work in progress because we have to leave them as bisque ware. Although I am happy with how mine will turn out and im excited to see how it will loo in the end. One thing I feel I could have done better was making the holes all the same size. My idea was to put pipe cleaners in the holes given that its a sea urchin but I just don´t want that to fail and it ends up badly.
Lidded Box
plan
- slump mold
- make lid by forming like a cup
- make it really thin
- shape it how i want
- fire
- glaze

For my lidded box I had the idea to make my mom a valentines day present. I did not like how it turned out and I am debating on remaking it and spending more time on it. Overall, I dont hate the way it looks, I just feel like a rushed on a project I shouldnt have.
